Don’t know why, but I’ve got a good feeling about it.

Weird, I’m feeling that too.

I’m not. It is foggy and I have cranky emails from folks already.

I’m just gonna ignore all that today.

I wish I could...then I have to go home, goto boxing class, get my ass kicked, then run a mile home, and check homework. Sigh...yay...

This makes me wish I had kept my 128i. I wanted to do the M suspension and diff bushing swap and add light weight wheels pretty badly.

I might get a 1M if I go back to oil.

I woke up, have been having a rough week, but seeing this nice 1M encourages me. Now I’m gonna have a good day. Thanks!

You’re welcome!
I got a call for an interview at a company up in a place I want to move to, also got a prospect to go back to the oilfield in Colorado, things are looking up.

A very good day. I get to chew out a manager or two at my Audi dealership.
Though they haven’t returned my phone call yet. I may have to pull up in the p-car and chew em out in person.

Sounds like a good day to me. I also didn’t realize you had an Audi.

Still have the 997 and love it, but neither that nor the truck are comfortable for long stints (my 997 has an amazing, but extremely stiff, TechArt Varioplus suspension).
So I got a CPO’d 2014 Audi allroad over 4th of July weekend last year. It was mint. Only had 9900 miles on it.
It’s an automatic. Don’t care. Love the car.
As for why I’m pissed:
Last week I got a recall notice..something about the auxiliary heater being a fire hazard.
I took the car in to the dealer and found out they were out of loaners. None of the loaners had been returned yet.
Since I was on a time crunch, I opted not to wait for a loaner show up. The dealer drove me to the nearest Enterprise and footed the bill for a rental car (though the rental was still in my name).
That was a nice gesture...or at least it would have been if I didn’t stuck with a filthy Nissan Versa that had a horrible rattling noise coming from the trunk.
I return the car the next morning when my car is ready. I was told to just return the car to the dealership and they would take care of it.
Well, I just got my paperwork sent to me from Enterprise today. Before returning the car to Enterprise, the dealership loaned it out to someone else, while it was still under my name. (it was loaned out for two days and a total of 94 miles were put on it. Roundtrip to the dealer from my place is around 25.)
I’m livid, because from a liability standpoint, they put me at risk. If someone got in an accident in that car, It would be on me.
So let that be a lesson. If you’re in that kind of situation, just return the car to the rental company and have the dealership pick you up.
I’ve tried getting ahold of a manager three times today. They’re never at their desk for some odd reason..

I would be livid as well. Probably “call Audi USA corporate” livid.

Since they can’t be bothered to return my calls, yeah, it will be escalated.
